Patrick Cardon is the Founder and Director of The Museum in the Streets©.
Its creation, in 1996, follows a life-time interest in History and the protection of cultural heritage.
Following degrees in Egyptology and Art History, Patrick worked at the Brooklyn Museum in New York City, served as Secretary General at the International Council of Museums ICOM, an NGO affilitated with UNESCO, and helped launch the Swiss Arch Foundation on whose Board he served until 1994. Patrick's experience in museum management and development, research and curating, fundraising and negotiation, prepared him in unique ways to be sensitive to the requirements of smaller institutions rich in collections but operating on modest budgets.
The Museum in the Streets works with a creative web-designer and social media enthusiast to promote each town's project on our website and via Twitter @StreetMuseum and Facebook.
Panel design and layout is overseen by an experienced graphic designer.
Text translation can be outsourced to professionals of high standing.
